Under the auspices of the Municipality of Seia, the Union of Parishes of Seia, São Romão and Lapa dos Dinheiros and the Tourism Central Region of Portugal, is held a special edition – ONLINE – of the International Song Festival of Serra da Estrela (FICSE).
FICSE is a festival of songs that in this special edition, in ONLINE format, is carried out by sending videos with the interpretation of the songs by the participants.

PARTICIPATION
The participation in this festival is open to children, young people and adults, according to the following categories:
   – 1st category – Soloists until 9 years old;
   – 2nd category – Soloists from 10 to 13 years old;
   – 3rd category – Soloists from 14 to 17 years old;
   – 4th category – Soloists from 18 years old and over (no limit).
NOTE: It is allowed the participation of vocal groups (duets, trios, quartets, etc.). Each group will be inserted in the category corresponding to the age of the oldest element.

PLACE AND DATE OF THE CONTEST
The rounds and the final Gala–Concert will take place on the internet, through the FICSE Facebook page and on the FICSE YouTube channel, between 25th and 28th of August 2021, according to the following schedule:
  – 25th, Wednesday:
    • at 3:00 pm: presentation of the round of the 1st category;
    • at 6:00 pm: presentation of the round of the 2nd category;
  – 26th, Thursday:
    • at 3:00 pm: presentation of the round of the 3rd category;
    • at 6:00 pm: presentation of the round of the 4th category;
  – 28th, Saturday:
    • at 6:00 pm: final Gala-Concert, with the announcement of the winners and the presentation of the awarded songs.

PROCEDURE
Each participant can compete with one or more songs (one song per video), until a maximum of four.
Songs can be original or not, and sung in any language.
Videos must be recorded in horizontal format.
It is recommended that the songs must not exceed the duration of four minutes (4'00").
To participate, must be filled and sent by email the application form of the Festival (attached to these Regulations). With the form, should be sent a copy of the Identity Card or Passport. Videos must be sent by file or indicating their link.
The inscriptions must be made until 15th of August 2021, to the address: nunofigueira65@gmail.com

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Competitors will have to pay a registration fee, in the following amount:
   – one song / one video: 20 Euros;
   – two songs / two videos: 35 Euros;
   – three songs / three videos: 45 Euros;
   – four songs / four videos: 50 Euros.

INTERNATIONAL JURY
The performance of the contest participants will be evaluated by an international jury, which will view all the videos received. Jury decisions (comprised of leading personalities in the world of the music) cannot be appealed.
The first three classified in each category will receive a trophy and the exemption of the registration fee in the next live edition of FICSE (in 2022).
All competitors receive a certificate of participation.

FINAL DISPOSITIONS
The participants of the Festival authorize the Organization to use the videos with the images of their performances to promote the Festival itself.
